P: Generative Fill option grayed out when using clipping mask

The generative fill option was working correctly. But when I created a clipping mask and selected an area on that layer, the generative fill option was grayed out. Not sure if maybe I am doing something wrong or not.

      That is a limitation which we hope to address in the near future. Sorry for the inconvienence. If you add a blank layer above the clipped layer Generative features will work again.
