P: Healings aus Camera Raw verrustcht nach Generative Expand

Photoshop Beta 25.9.

Thank you for your tip, for your ideas. I reset the preferences. But nothing changed.

My steps are:

I converted the layer with my photo to a Smart Object, then I opened the Camera Raw Filter, then I used the Healing Tool / the Content Aware Remove, then I clicked "OK".

After this I chose the Crop Tool with Generative Expand on the right side (only on the right side), the layer is still a Smart Object not rasterized.

Hope this helps and we can solve this.

Thanks for your efforts,

Jeannine

Thank you for the update and screenshots. Could you share your steps so we can try to recreate here?  Open file, go to Filter Camera RAW and..., then...., then?  This way we can see where this might be happening.

Our testing here do not show this issue, the ACR content-aware fill changes do not move when the background is expanded and GenExpand is used.

Try resetting Prefs for the Beta:
/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/ Photoshop Beta Settings (Mac Ventura)
/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/Adobe\ Photoshop\ \(Beta\)\ Settings (Mac)

C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop (Beta)\Adobe Photoshop (Beta) Settings )Win)
Launch BETA Photoshop While Pressing The Keyboard Shortcut
With Photoshop closed, press and hold Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and then Launch Photoshop the way you normally would.

Hi @CShubert,

thanks for your quick reply. Unfortunately, I didn't takea screenshot, so I recreated it. Same issue with other images, same thing happens in PS 25.7.

Hi @jeanninem49420939 could you share some screenshots of the issue so we can see what you see? Have you been able to repeate this issue with another image, and does the same thing happen if you use Ps release version 25.7?

Thanks,
