P: Lightroom Classic>Edit in PS: Long Delay+Erroneous Error Message opening Ps Beta 2024 25.0

I agree - that fact that this is still not fixed is weird - I would've thought that this was a quick fix for them - the fact that it isn't is really very strange

Ok, but this is a major error. A lot of emphasis by Adobe and product supporters has been made. They to release a version that simply does not interface between Lightroom and the Photoshop Beta product is a disappointing error which will negatively effect marketing. This should not have happened. I know this is Beta, but quality control is certainly lacking advertising all of the candy while putting it out with a big rotten egg in the middle is rediculous.

I'm not sure what is going on, but if I right click & edit in photoshop, it results with these errors. 

But ultimately, it will open in photoshop, but it takes very long time. 

Once open in photoshop, the behavior seems to have changed, where its already a TIFF file with a "-Edit" name change, where as before had these issues it just opened as ARW and did not have name change. 

Any help on this would be appreciated as its slowing down my workflow considerably. 

I have the same problem. Not the error mesage, but I can't transfer files from LR 12.4  to PS 24.7

It also does not work for PS Beta 25.0. 

It was working always before. 

Since the latest update, the link between PS and LRC is broken. PS opens, but the image doesn't open for editing. 

I'm on the latest OSX.

PS- v24.7

LRC 12.4

C-ROW - 15.4.1

I disabled the home screen on PS - it didn't help.

After latest updat Photoshop(Beta) and Lightroom Classic link workflow not working

when I Ctrl+E from Lightroom then Photoshop Beta open but no file open...

then waiting a minute LR show

"The file could not be edited because Adobe Photoshop 2024 could not be lunched." 

LR create new tiff file and Photoshop open that file instead

so,I try to use creative cloud remove and reinstall photoshop before Lr but not working

This happens with every file, even if Photoshop 2024 is already up and running at the time. 

 

This does not happen with 2023 v24.7.

UPDATE:
restarting creative cloud gives the option to roll back and the issue is not available with 24.7

totally agree with this, looks like Photoshop beta is just not reporting to Lightroom that it is started properly, but yeah it is annoying as it takes between 4 and 7 minutes to open a single image. I tried rolling back, but somehow the list of versions in the creative cloud is empty for Photoshop beta...

Thank you all for your input. I rolled back to beta 24.7 and it's ok now. We will wait for a fix to upgrade again.
