P: Photoshop 26.11 20250813.m.3181 - dragging a selection to another open file crashes Photoshop

Open two files, make a selection on any layer in the first image using the marquee tool. Use the move tool to drag the selected area to the other open Photoshop document. As you drop the selection Photoshop quits without any warning. Only happens with a selection, drag the whole image and you're OK.

Mac Studio M1 Max 64GB RAM Sequoia 15.6.

This seems to be a repeatable bug, happens to me with different RGB images every time I try it.
