P: Photoshop Beta Startup Error (0xc0000142)

It seems that there's a issue on your machine. For me (and many other users) the 25.10 Beta is working (I've had the problem with 25.9). I've check it on an 6 - 8 year old PC.

Do you have tried to reset the Photoshop preferences?

Which operating system do you use?

Which hardware do you use?

@CShubertOK, I installed 25.10 beta from my Creative Cloud app as you suggested and I STILL get the same error, so the problem is NOT SOLVED with 25.10 beta.  It seems other people are also not seeing a solution with 25.10, so this needs further work from Adobe.

Ainda não funcionou pra mim. Desinstalei e instalei a última versão, o erro continua o mesmo.
Tem alguma coisa que eu possa testar? Já abri como administrador.

@CShubert As I mentioned earlier in this thread, PS Beta still won't launch. I updated from CCD. And now it seems that the contagion has been ported over to the release version PS 25.9. I started a thread on that in the bug section of the released PS forum. I can also start a new thread in the Beta community about PS Beta 25.10 still not launching, if you still wish. Please let me know.

@CShubert , entiendo las ganas de cerrar este hilo, pero creo que el problema dista mucho de estar resuelto. Máxime cuando ahora, a muchos no nos funciona tampoco la nueva actualización de Photoshop v.25.9 por la que pagamos (y no podemos usar).

Por más que instalo, desinstalo, actualizo y reintento... siguen sin correr las nuevas versiones de Beta (ni la 25.9, ni la 25.10) y ahora, tampoco la 25.9 del programa de pago.

Me siento impotente y nada apoyado por el respaldo de Adobe.

@datro try quiting CCD and then restarting. The latest Ps beta is Adobe Photoshop Version: 25.10.0 20240519.m.2625 a247d6d arm64 and if you are not seeing this it could be you are blocked by an IT Admin? If not, you can force CCD to go out and pull down the latest as described above.

Let us know if you are able to get CCD to show you the 25.10 beta.

Just did the latest update today (May 22) to 25.9 as prompted by the Adobe Creative Cloud app on my machine...NO GO.  Fails with the 0xc0000142 error.  I don't see 25.10 as available in my Creative Cloud app???  Dead in the water here....

Did a new install and it now works.
