P: PS Beta 26.2 & release 26.1 Crash when editing with the remove tool

I am having the same issue and I'm using the newest macbook pro and my mac os is updated as well as photoshop

Every time I use the remove tool it closes. I am a MacBook Pro user, M1 processor, 32 GB RAM. It is really annoying. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program 50 times. Every time the remove tool still ends the program.

It was selected already....   

I know the crash report appeared right after the crash, I will follow those steps.

Please submit all Crash Reports along with your email address: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/submit-crash-reports.html That will help us diagnose the crash.

If you don't see the Crash Reporter dialog appear, you may have selected an option to not show the dialog. Follow these steps to set the preference to Always Show This Dialog:

macOS

Cmd+click the Photoshop app icon and choose Show Package Contents.
Select Contents > Frameworks > AdobeCrashReporter.framework.
Cmd+click the alias named AdobeCrashReporter and select Show Original.
Double-click Adobe Crash Reporter (Red A app icon, not the black AdobeCrashReporter UNIX executable file).
Choose Always Show This Dialog and click Done.

It may help if we could see your Photoshop beta System Info. Launch Photoshop beta, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.
