Quand j'utilise l'outil supprimer sur un calque vide, Photoshop me crée un nouveau calque à chaque clic ?? Pour effacer des tâches de capteur je me retrouve avec une dizaines de calques !!

Hi @johnt41947401 could you share your sysinfo? I have noticed that the recent update did fix this for MAC, so it is possible that the WIN fix is coming soon...

Launch Photoshop beta, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

Thanks,

Cory,

I'm unclear if the latest PS Beta issued this week should have sorted this issue? Having updated, the issue remains and there is still no option to limit changes to a single layer?

Hey everyone, thank you for your patience on this.  The team has let me know that a fix for this should be in the next Ps Beta build, so let us know after the next update if this solves this issue you for you.

Thanks,

Updated to Adobe Photoshop Version: 26.9.0 20250611.m.3107 305eb96 x64.
But the problem is the same.

You're not the only one waiting for this to be sorted! Its been an ongoing issue for at least a fortnight and there are 3 separate threads all discussing the same issue. I sincerely hope it gets sorted in the very near future.
