P: Sky Replacement menu (skies do not brighten using slider but all other slider functions are reliably working)

Photoshop Beta 27.9 - When invoking the Sky Replacement module (Edit > Sky Replacement) the brightness slider is not functional, although it moves freely, there is no visible change in the preview, nor is any brightness to the sky visible when applied. All other slider functions within the Sky Replacement panel function normally. The same feature (sky replacement brightness slider) works normally in non-beta version of Photoshop v 27.8.

I concur. The sky replacement module is extremely useful but now requires an extra step or two in order to get the desired sky brightness in Ps Beta. I’ve seen a few updates recently but the issue is still unresolved. Hopefully, they’ll fix it soon.

If you want to “add” the same effect as the brightness-slider does, add a Exposure-Adjustment Layer, then ALT+LEFT click between the newly created layer and the Sky-Replacement Group in your layer list.

Then you can adjust accordingly by pushing the slider on the exposure bar. Works the same, just a little bit more tedious to do while they fix the bug!
