P: The AI images generated in Adobe Photoshop Beta are vaguely low resolution, soft focus. Visually they arent sharp

I go into Adobe Photoshop Beta, and write a prompt. I use Generative Fill Nano Banana 2.5 to create an image based on my prompt. Canvas is 1920x1080 72dpi. Looks generally fine when the image is created. But when you save it as a psd, and then go to the finder level on mac where the files lives and highlight the file and press space bar to view it as a preview, it’s kind of soft focus. It’s hard to describe. It just doesnt have that sharp crispness HD-ness that a normal high res image would have. I want to say its blurry but thats not quite the right word. I can share a private image but cant post it here.

This is a known limitation that the team is aware of. The generative features produce output at a fixed internal resolution, so on larger documents the results can look soft or blurry compared to the rest of the image.

The team is working on improving output quality for high-resolution workflows. No specific timeline to share yet, but it's on our radar.

In the meantime, a workaround that can help: make smaller selections or crop to a smaller area before generating, then composite the result back into the full document. Not ideal, but it can noticeably improve sharpness. Quality improvements will continue rolling out in future updates.
