P: The state of "Show layer mask badges" is not saved after restarting Photoshop

The state of "Show layer mask badges" is not saved after restarting Photoshop. If I uncheck this option and restart (just close and reopen) Photoshop it reverts back to checked and the masks are shown.

 

Windows 10 x64

    The setting is saved in the newest Beta: Adobe Photoshop Version: 25.3.0 20231108.m.2393 1585851 x64
