Hi there,

unfortunately this bug (https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-beta-bugs/p-photoshop-doesn-t-use-30-bit-display-depth-banding-issues-in-light-grey-tones/idi-p/15224234?search-action-id=826312321878&search-result-uid=15224234) is still there and has not been resolved by Adobe.

It temporarily worked with one NVidia driver (581.57) and reverted to the old behaviour with later drivers. The problem with the 581.57 driver was, that every display profile was ignored by Photoshop and set to sRGB by Windows which is not the correct behaviour.

So please, Adobe, investigate and fix this!

Thank you.

I found another strange behaviour of this issue. If I move the canvas around quickly with space bar for a few seconds, the image is displayed correctly in 30bit without the banding issues. After stopping the movement the banding appears again after 5-10 seconds.
