The Color Picker window is really huge and does not work properly. It fails to select the color I am trying to sample. This started with the last update.

When I try to change a layer style by sampling a color it gives a huge window in the wrong color or just stays on the color that was last used. Here, I am trying to sample the teal color in the image background. The only way to change the color in the Color picker mode is to change the number values or use the color bar. The mouse converts to the eyedropper tool, but it does not grab the color I am want.

Here I reduced the window to show what the color picker window looks like, and I see a hint of swatches at the bottom, but that is all I can see. I am on BETA 28.0.1

The Color Picker in the Modern Color User Interface is resizable.

Can you try clicking on a corner to make it smaller?

I tried to click in the corner to reduce color picker as you suggested. The only place to click in the corner is an X, which closes it. There's nowhere else to click, as shown in the last image above.

The more troubling problem is that in Layer Style>Color Overlay, the eyedropper only picks up color from the Color Picker screen, not from the image I am trying to sample color from. Strangely, when I click on the image to sample color in COLOR OVERLAY MODE, it changes the color in the Character window, not the Color Overlay, like it used to before the update. In the image below, I tried to sample the light blue of the flower image, to change the COLOR OVERLAY style, but light blue only appeared in the character color window.
