When trying to add a new color swatch the first in line is replaced instead. Not possible to create a new one. Any suggestions?

    Hi @jörgh70894916

Thanks for reaching out. To better understand what’s happening, could you share a few more details?

    • Which version of Photoshop for iPad are you using?
    • What iPad model and iPadOS version are you on?
    • Does this happen every time you try to add a new swatch, or only in specific files?
    • If possible, could you share a short screen recording or screenshots showing the issue?

These details will help narrow down the cause and suggest the right solution.

    Hello there,

thanks for getting back to me. I am using Photoshop for iPad version 6.0.4 on an iPad Pro 12,9“ M1 (5. Generation) running iPadOS 18.6.2. The issue happens every time I try to add a new swatch no matter which file I am working on. I attach a short screen recording showing how the first swatch in line is overwritten..

…While uploading this I noticed that the first swatch is line was not simply overwritten but pushed further behind. I then deleted all swatches inbetween. Those seem to have being damaged..

Issue seems to be solved for now. Still I wonder what happened to the swatches I ha to delete.

In connection with this: Are there any plans to integrate the possibility to arrange and save multiple sets of color swatches for different projects?

    Best, Joerg
