El click fuera de lienzo no funciona

Durante toda la existencia de photoshop, cuando tenias algo seleccionado en el lienzo, si clickabas fuera del lienzo se deselecionaba. Esta forma tan agil, rapida y productiva de trabajar ahora no esta.

In the Tool Options Bar for whatever selection tool your using make sure New selection is enabled so when you click outside the selection it deselects.
