I got an error message as shown in the attached screenshot. I did a search and it appears I need to uninstall my Adobe software and reinstall it. I can't uninstall the software as I get the same message. What do I do now?

I am running Windows 11 on a Microsoft Surface Pro 11, which runs on the Qualcomm chip and I assume all the Creative Cloud apps are running in emulation mode.

Thanks for your help!

What version of Photoshop, and what version of Windows?

I was hoping it wouldn’t come to reinstalling MS Visual C as the various help sites suggest, but that same advice comes from an Adobe employee in this thread.

    I’m running Windows 11 25H2, installed 2025-10-08.

I’m running Photoshop 27.0.25 and Creative cloud 6.8.0.821.

I try to keep all my apps up to date, so belivie these are the most recent versions.

    Thanks!

In that case, you need to use the Photoshop Cleaner tool. That should get you back to a virgin state sans of any Photoshop files.
