I'm a recent Photoshop user on macOS, and in the gradients screen it's not possible to move between colors using the arrow keys, something I could do without problems in Windows.

Do you remember the version of Photoshop where the arrow keys worked in the preset selector? I see that the keyboard focus is pointed at the Name field when the preset selector is called. Also, this behavior is consistent in the Properties panel, the Gradients Panel, and the Gradient tool.
