Keyboard shortcut for foreground color picker in photoshop doesn't work

It is unbelievable that we need to install third-party scripts and look ourselves for solutions instead of having a proper update from Adobe.

I am having exactly the same issue right now, I also can't even set a custom button for HUD color picker as well for cintiq. 

So annoying. Today I updated to version 25.11.0 and the shortcut for the foreground color picker stopped working, I always used it with the D key (without conflict) from a wacom radial menu. On the bright side the update solved the error message "Face Expression File is bad or corrupted" that I got from the previous update, but this shortcut issue is more harmful to the workflow.

yes, I too set a keyboard shortcut for the foreground color picker, and its so distressing that it won't work.

Yes, since my update to Photoshop 25.11.0 earlier in July, my keyboard shortcuts to bring up foreground and background color pickers have stopped working (on a Macbook M1, Sonoma 14.5). For me: Foreground = A, Background = Q and there are no conflicts in the shortcuts that I can find. However, other custom keyboard shortcuts continue to work.

If anyone knows how to fix this, I will be very grateful. Otherwise, Adobe should address this in the near future. 

If you have the color picker as a tab on your tab groups (so it's open at all times), try closing it.

I downgraded to 25.5 and closed my color picker tab, and suddenly it works now.
