Are you using Windows 11 by chance?

I ask because there is another report of this occuring after a recent windows 11 update.

It would also be nice to know what bit depth, color mode, and color profile the affected document has? Does it happen with all files?

Ok. If you completely disable the GPU does it still happen? Go to Preferences > Performance... and uncheck Use Graphics Processor. Restart Photoshop. Does the problem persist?

It may also help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

The problem still occurs,

• I checked the "Deactivate Native Canvas"
• Exited Photoshop
• Opened Photoshop
• Added a color lookup to the adjustment layer
• Then from the 3DLUT Pulldown selected the following:
  • 2Strip.look (Does not work - turns image black)
  • 2Strip.look (Does not work - turns image black)
  • Bleach Bypass.look (Does not work - turns image black)
  • Candlelight.CUBE (Works as expected)
  • Crisp_Warm.look (Works as expected)
  • Crisp_Winter.looks (Does not work - turns imabe black)

Go to Preferences > Technology Previews... and check "Disable Native Canvas" - then restart Photoshop. Does the problem still occur?

Hello everyone, today I installed the update for Windows 11. Namely the kb008353 . After that I have errors in PS when I apply LUTs. Most of the time there is only a black picture. Does anyone have similar experiences? When I uninstall the kb008353 everything is OK again.
