P: Drawing paths in Photoshop with pen tool still broken!!!

I can't draw paths with the pen tool without the tool sticking after about every 6th click. This makes drawing complex paths around images an absolute pain and is affecting my productivity. I use a mouse, not a tablet and am on PC. PS build 24.3.0. This has been like this for well over a month.

Can somebody please fix this. Adobe, you'll add any amount of bloat features but don't pay attention to the everyday stuff that us users need to simply get our work done.

Absolutely not impressed!!!

This issue was fixed with the 25.7 release.  If you are still having issues with this, please start a new thread and we will have the team look into it.

Please try with 25.6 that just came out.  We put some code optimizations in that should address this issue with the mouse.

    Hi Cory. This is interesting! I updated PS to 24.3.0 again to test first with my usual mouse and then with a basic wired mouse. While trying to recreate the problem with my usual mouse, I couldn't get the problem to arise. In other words it appears to have fixed the issue. The sticking hand tool also had gone away. So touch wood something in the rollback to 24.0.0 and then subsequent update straight to 24.3.0 seems to have fixed the issue. I'll keep montioring in case it does come back, but for now we are good.

      Curious @7199190 if the same issue happens with a different mouse? The team is trying to see if something is specific to this mouse or all for your system.

        Hi @7199190 curious what kind of mouse you are seeing this with, is it a gaming mouse or multifunction type or basic? Model and make?

        I can confirm that rolling back to v24.0 completely fixes the issue, which is what I always expected. The bug was introduced in some newer version of PS. Please can this be investigated and fixed, so that at some point I  can start using the latest versions on auto-update again. Much appreciated. Keith

        Thank you for the sysinfo @7199190. You say this started about a month ago, have you tried rolling back to Ps 24.0 to see if the issue persists?
