Photoshop Freezing

Has anyone else faced this issue in the latest versions of Photoshop (both Main and Beta)?

Whenever I type a number followed by a dot and then a space (for example, "1. Text"), Photoshop automatically converts it into a numbered list/bullet format. The problem is that Photoshop then freezes completely, becomes unusable, and I can't even save my work. The only way to close it is through Task Manager.

Has anyone experienced this issue, or am I missing a setting on my side?

Does it still happen if you disable automatic bullets?

Select Preferences > Type, uncheck Automatic detection of Bulleted and Numbered lists while typing, and select OK to prevent automatically formatting text into lists.

If you want a numbered list, try applying it instead of typing it manually. In the Properties panel, select Bullets and Numbering, then numbers instead of bullets, then choose your style.

@Subhash33394060w3pq just tested on my system with Photoshop version 27.7, and I cannot replicate the issue you described, try manually resetting the Photoshop preferences
