PS 27.6.0 After image saved via script, asterisk still appears after filename yet Bridge shows already saved.

In last version, when ran attached script (uploaded as text because would not permit ATN version) , when completed filename on window with file showed no asterisk indicating no unsaved changes. However, with 27.6.0, after the script completes, an asterisk is shown (example attached). Nothing was changed after the script ran. Checking Bridge, the complete file is saved as expected. When I attempt to save the image, sometimes I get no response indicating nothing new to save. Other times, I get a prompt to replace or duplicate the saved file. 

This all worked in the last version. I have used the script over 100 times with the prior version (which incidentally, was current until 27.6 arrived).

Am running mac0S 26.4.1, current.
