Switching channels via keyboard shortcut deselects the active point

Re-typing all this in a more abbreviated form as the submission form decided it was a good idea to delete your entire message if you edit the title! 
 

Since updating to 27.5, switching between the color channels of a curves layer deselects the active point. Previously, the same, nth point of the curve would be kept selected, so for instance you could switch back and forth and tweak the midpoints of each channel easily, once you had a point in each one.
