Getting this error message when trying to link from Premiere to AE. I obviously have the latest version of AE Beta installed and.

I made a simple test by opening PR Beta (24.2.0.39), adding an asset to a sequence, and using "replace with after effects composition." AE Beta (24.2.0.30) opened, prompted me to migrate settings (I had not opened it since last installing the Beta), and opened a new composition. I closed AE. PR had the aep composition on the timeline.

First, this bug has been resolved with the latest PR & AE update (24.2.0.46, 24.2.0.42)

For reference, I had linked done the process you noted, but went back a week later in the projects to make changes, and I was getting that error message.

Thanks for the support, Stan.

How were you trying to import the AE file?

While I am sure your Beta versions were up to date, the Beta versions change almost daily in most cases. I think it is unusual for the latest AE version (38) to be almost a week old (12/7).
