Auditioning audio from bin inconsistent

Steps to reproduce:
    1. Load some audio clips in a bin

2. Click an audio clip so the mini scrub indicator appears 

3. Tap spacebar
 
Result: Nothing happens until you click the clip and try it again at least 3 times
Expected: Audio to play on tap of spacebar
