Beta 26.0 Build 36 - Right clicking subtitle track items sometimes doesn't open the right click menu

I group and link subtitles to footage so they stay together when I move clips around. And I kind of never ungroup by shortcut but go into the context menu for that, and then I noticed that it won't open for me.

You can access all those things via the top menu bar though.

I can never recall having an issue with that before to be honest.

That is strange. I copied captions, and nested and copied. Nothing I do gets anything other than what I described.

A workaround might be keyboard shortcuts. What are you trying to do?

Since I can't record what buttons I'm pressing - I'm just right clicking the tracks.

And for the top track I can't get the right click context menu to open - I didn't matter if it is selected or not.

I tested more and this behavior is the same in current Premiere 25.6.1.

For a brief second I thought this is related to imported subtitles. I have no idea why it works for the buttom row. I copied those from a nested sequence and there the context menu doesn't work either for the same subtitle items. 

But overall for every subtitle track item I create I can't open the context menu. Doesn't matter the track, or project or current Premiere or Beta.

I'm Win 11 and tested Release 25.6.1 and Beta 26.0.0.36. I can't get what I see in your screen recording.

If I hover over the end of a caption segment, so I see the Edit Bracket, I can get a right-click menu. But everything is always greyed out. Otherwise, I get no right-click action at all.

It appears the sometimes, you are able to get an active right-click menu without that. Any thoughts about what you are doing?
