blade cuts, playhead moves

very often, when applying a cut with the blade tool, the playhead skips immediately to a random point of the timeline

    It's possible this was happening when you had an active search in the Text panel. We've just put a fix in the most recent build of Premiere Pro (Beta) to prevent this unwanted jumping.

    This is usually because there's something in a search box, e.g. captions/transcript.
