Build 38 keeps crashing

I was color grading a project with a previous build and was working fine. I updated to Build 38 and now the project keeps crashing while doing almost anything in color mode. Sometimes it happens doing the exact same thing as soon as I re-open it, other times it lets me work for a little while and then another adjustment makes it crash and the cycle continues. 
It has happened doing exposure adjustments, previewing a hue selection, selecting several clips to create a group. 

It seems to be stable if I do color adjustments directly in the properties panel within the Edit workspace. 

I have tried importing the project in a new project but that didn’t work.
