Can't create horizontal guide

Hello,

I'm trying to add a horizontal guide, but even when I request "horizontal" from the drop down menu, it still creates a vertical guide. I'm not able to create anything but vertical guides. Seems like a bug in this Beta version.

I’m currently having this exact same problem. Using Premiere Version 26.3.2 (Build 2) on Mac. In the “add Guide” dialogue I change the orientation dropdown from vertical to horizontal but the “Left” and “Right” radio buttons don’t change to “Top” and “Bottom” (like I assume they should), and no matter what I enter it’s always a vertical guide.

Yes, I can drag a horizontal guide down from the ruler as a work around, but that’s harder to get those set to an exact pixel and I really hope Adobe fixes this!

FWIW: The Add a Guide dialog does work in 26.2.2 (shipping)

Yes, @BeratGL’s way works, it’s ctrl-r to show the Rulers, and you can click and drag down from the ruler across the top to create a horizontal guide line.

That dialog needs some attention, as like you guys are saying, it doesn’t produce a horizontal guide line when asked. Win11 25H2 (clean) / PP 26.5 b23

Yes, this is a bug indeed. I would recommend you to use ctrl + r and add a horizontal guide manually as a workaround for now.
