can't rename items

Trying to rename a bin but it hangs up the system and I have to force quit. Happening also with trying to rename an audio clip.

Related, I tried opening the project in the latest release (non-Beta) and get a message saying that the project was created in a newer version of Premiere and cannot be opened. I took the chance of working in Beta after hearing assurances from Adobe that projects created in Beta would always function in the latest release version. Adobe are not keeping their word.

Dont know what is wrong with this build (19)

Crashing like crazy when trying to double click on a sequence in the project panel.

edit

Had to delete some sequences and rebuild them. Stopped crashing.

Great, that did the trick. The new build crashed on closing but at least I'm able to organize bins and items with my choice of names. Thanks.

It's been fixed in 23.0.0 BETA (Build 17). The Mac build is available to download from Creative Cloud and the Windows version is in the process of being posted and will be available shortly. Thanks!

The fix for the rename issue should be in tomorrow's beta version. Thanks for your patience!

Thanks for flagging this! It's a known issue that was introduced in 23.0.0 BETA (Build 15). We are fixing it ASAP. Thanks for your help testing our Beta releases. Let me know if you need help rolling back to an earlier 23.0 Beta version.
