Can’t trim my clips in the timeline

"I’m on the latest update of Premiere Pro Beta. Suddenly I can’t trim my clips in the timeline. I’ve tried deleting cache files, uninstalling and reinstalling – but no luck. Does anyone know what I should do?

    I was just experiencing the same thing but was able to resolve it by turning off "Transmit device playback" (second monitor) in the playback settings.
