Captions are not showing in preview + other bugs

I am using the latest upated version of Premiere Pro Beta v25.0

Captions are not showing in the preiview at all, even though all the texts are already laid out on the caption track (and the yes the "view" icon is on). 

and I cannot drag .png files to my timeline..

I restarted my laptop many times, the issue still persists.

I also noticed other bugs today...but the caption problem is the biggest one for me as I gotta subtitle lots of videos for my job!

Anyone has a solution??? 

Any help would be much appreciated!
