Color Mode Controls not working correctly with Tablets and Track Pad

When using my Wacom Tablet in Penn Mode (which is the Standart for VFX Artist and Colorists), color Controls are not fully usable as the room for downward adjustments is very limited.

Also, when using the Track Pad on my MacBook Pro M3 MAX, the HUDS are not showing.

For me the HUD scopes work fine on a MacBook M1 Pro on MacOS 26.4 with Wacom Tablet.

The issue of downward adjustments is still a thing though given it's design. An alternate solution really needs to be created because most professional vfx artists and colorists use a pen rather than mouse or trackpad.

I also want to highlight that on Windows using a Wacom Pen is totally impossible. The value shoots immediately into one direction maxing out that value and sticks there whatever you do. I hope this can be solved otherwise I'll pretty much never be able to use the color environment.

Thanks for reporting these.

For Also, when using the Track Pad on my MacBook Pro M3 MAX, the HUDS are not showing :

  • This is not something known. So can you please elaborate if this is happening in all scenarios (like Simply create a sequence » Go to Color Mode » Change some control and HUD doesn’t appear) ?
  • Can you check if your check box for showing HUDs is on (see image) ? You can open the Dialog by clicking Wrench menu icon present towards RHS of Color Tools Panel (see image) and then selecting Color HUD options.
