Copy / paste clips to AE functionality not working in beta

In Premiere 2026 you can copy / paste clips into AE comps. This copy /paste feature isnt working in beta.

    Do you have Premiere Beta 2027 and AE Beta 2027 installed?

    Does copy/paste only work between betas? I haven’t tried it with AE beta. I’ll see if it makes a difference.

    I just tried to copy/paste a clip from Premiere Beta 2027 to AE 26.3 and it didn’t work. Your Premiere & AE versions usually have to be the same year for dynamic link and copy/paste to work properly. There are some cases where I can copy/paste a clip from Premiere 2024 into an AE comp in AE 2025 but I wouldn’t be able to dynamic link between Premiere 2024 & After Effects 2025
