DE Fog Factory crashes PP 25.1.0 beta

When adding DE Fog Factory to an adjustment layer on V6, the effect controls come up for a second before PP unexpectedly shuts down. When reopening the crashed project it immediately shuts down. When opening a previously saved version of the project everything works - until attempting to add Fog Factory.
