Did Enhance Speech stop working for anyone else after yesterday's Beta update?

Did Enhance Speech stop working for anyone else after yesterday's Beta update? I have been using it in Beta for a while. And I haven't changed anything in my procedure, but all of a sudden yesterday it seems like Enhance Speech does not work for me anymore.

I put an audio track on the timeline, select Dialogue as its audio type, and press Enhance.  Then it does run the process, and takes the same amount of time to process as it did before. And when it is done I can tell from the waveform on the track that adjustments were made. But When I listen to it, there is no discernible difference between the enhanced version and the original track, no matter what level I set the enhance effect slider to. 

And when I render and replace the newly "enhanced" track, the waveform shifts back to appear almost identical to the original track. And again, there is no discernible difference between the two tracks when you listen to them.

Has this happened to anyone else? Has something changed in the procedure to apply to the Enhance Speech effect?
