Doesn't return to correct sequence after stepping into a multicam & then closing it

If you step into a multicam with ctrl-double click or a nest with double click and do what you need to do & then close it, you return to the last sequence in the set of tabs, not the one you were in. I feel like this used to work as you would want it to (and return you to the sequence you were in), but I may be wrong. So I don't know if this is a bug or a feature request.

23.6.0.19 and for quite a few versions before that.

Here's a related issue that I think changed with PR2021. If you nest a sequence that is open, it opens in a new, last tab. When closed, it stays on the (now) last tab. In PR2020, it would return to the previous tab.

It looks like I did not test the Beta.
