Dragged object mask to Opacity, which should remove the background, but instead got a weird mask and the background remains.

Thanks for the screenshots, that really helps. From what I can see, the mask is being applied inverted, and the shape isn't correctly isolating the subject — the background is remaining visible rather than being removed.

A couple of quick questions:

• When you dragged the object mask to Opacity, did you check or uncheck the Invert option?
• Did you track the mask before dragging it to Opacity, or drag it first?
• Can you provide steps to reproduce?
