Drawbot is very slow on huge timelines
Hey Adobe Team,
from my research on this forum "drawbot" seems to be the internal name for rendering clips on the timeline, and for many years now, if you have a huge timeline
with a lot of clips scattered across all tracks, it sometimes takes half a second (if not more!) to scroll to the left or right.
Another user made a *very* detailed post about this (with a video) comparing Premiere to Davinci Resolve when it comes to just that issue: https://community.adobe.com/bug-reports-728/major-lag-with-with-the-premiere-pro-interface-timeline-bins-resizing-windows-etc-1331203
I really hope that some of the best at Adobe may fix this issue for good since it is unfortunate that in 2026, Premiere is the only editing software that has this issue...
It really kills the creative workflow working inside Premiere Pro when you need to wait a long time just to scroll...
Cheers
