Duplicate Frame indicator on Timeline inaccurate

I am getting the duplicate frames indicator in the timeline even when I don't have duplicate frames. It happens when I might move a clip or edit it in some way. Not always. But twice today it happened. And I just updated today.

I have the same problem. This bug was introduced 2-3 versions back. Before that update the Duplicate Frame display was always accurate.  This happens if a video clip is dropped in the timeline more than once with Show Duplicate Frame Markers on. Often this bug may be related to clips without time code that start at 00;00;00;00 in source.  If I edit the first instance in a sequence and later drag the same clip later and edit start frame in and out the colored duplicate frame indicator does not match the actual duplicate frames. Incorrectly showing me duplicate frames that are not duplicated.  And if I slip or slide the material in the timeline, the duplicate frame indicator does not move with the new timing, instead showing the same frames regardless of the new edit in error. It is impossible to identify if you are duplicating material because of this bug.

This mp4 attachment shows this error. This clip on my sequence is an mp4 and starts at 00;00;00 (timecode being created in PPro) . The clip appears in the sequence at 2 locations, this is the second location with the violet duplicate indicator. As I slip the video in either direction the Duplicate Frame Indicator does not move with the timecode.

Because of this bug editing duplicate clips with many scenes is challenging and it makes it impossible to use this important feature.  I have tried this with various footage and I am not sure if it’s related to these types of mp4 or all material.
