Edit in Audtion is greyed out

I have some audio clips that I wish to edit in Audtion 2024 from within Premiere Pro. I am using Premiere Pro 24.1.0 BETA (Build 62). MAC laptop.

When I try to edit the clip in Audition, the option is greyed out. I cannot get to Audition this way.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue between the two programs?

I'm currently in the same situation.

In a shared premiere project, I can't go to audition to edit a single clip or to import all of the premiere sequence into audition.
