Effect control panel slow down Premiere because it updates on every frame when selecting something

Hello Premiere Pro team,

I’ve attached two videos showcasing this bug:

The effect control panel now updates every frame when you move the cursor. I am sure this is not how it used to be and it unfortunately slows down the application.

Expected outcome: The effect control panel only updates or gets the selection made by the cursor once the user lets go of the left mouse button instead of everytime when the cursor is moved.
