Effects cannot be cleared from effects control panel

Steps to reproduce:
 

1. Add effect to audio clip in timeline (e.g. simple notch filter)
   
   
2. Try to remove audio effect (with backspace or right click clear, or Edit | Clear

Result:  Effect remains
Expected: Effect removed

NB Seems OK with video effects
