When manually typing in a font in the source text field, the cursor deselects from the text field after typing one letter. You have to reclick into the text field to continue typing. After which typing one letter makes it exit the text field again - and so on.

Hi all,

A fix for this issue is available in the Beta builds of Premiere Pro 25.2.x105. Please give this a try in the Beta builds and let us know if works for you.

Not the original poster but I am getting this issue on Version 25.1.0 (Build 73) on an M2 Max Studio. It only happens when trying to type in the font field under the "Effect Controls" panel, it behaves as normal in the "Properties" panel.
