Anyone experiencing Media Encoder 26.0 running extremely slow and only using a small percentage of their GPUs?

There is also a problem with the NVIDIA driver
There’s a problem with your program too
What happened? I still haven’t gotten it resolved
Every time I update, there’s a problem with NVIDIA CUDA hardware encoding, and it started occurring from version 25.2, but it still hasn’t been fixed
So I’m still using the 2023 version
You keep deleting the old version, so if that’s the case, keep it open so you can download the previous version!
That’s how you use it without updating
Are you only going to keep doing the AI update that no one uses?
Ai should make something people actually want, not just stuff to boost your stock performance. What are you supposed to do?
I’ve never really seen many people using Adobe’s AI features
Please at least pay attention to stabilizing the program!

Just switched from 3090 to 5080, and encoding from ver 25 till 26.0.2 is dead, windows shows different usage depends on different version, but nothing higher than 12%. How weird is that older GPU is used in full, yet newest can not be usage pretty much at all. For exmaple Handbrake doesnt have that issues, 30min clean clip show 1h of render in premire, yet Handbrake can do it in just 7minutes. I hope Adobe will fix it asap, cause it insanly annyoing how much time we have to waist for final rendering.

YEAH!  Build 21 Seems to correct the GPU acceleration for Media Encoder, but I am doign some testing to confirm further:

No Disrespect for the employees whom I’m sure are beyond overworked and being blamed for this. But what in the world makes you think its ok to push out completely non functional software and use us as your quality assurance testers? When did we move from customers to becoming employees? I work on weekly shows that have 24 hour turn arounds and extremely tight workflows that require consistency with very little wiggle room and this is costing me hours upon hours. What am I even paying for?

Again, To the hard working people and engineers that work on this stuff, I’m sure you have been ringing the bell and saying “it’s not ready yet” and some shareholder minded dinosaur has been forcing to to push your teams harder, but this is so beyond unacceptable. Stop trying to force AI down my throat and just let me use the software!

Build 20 - no charges, ME still doesn't use GP…..

@Adobe Staff - any indication of when this bug can be corrected, and what build should I start paying attention to ?

Probably be better if you didn't roll out a new version every single year. The decline in overall software quality has been getting steadily worse since Adobe decided this was a clever move.

Another Update to ME to Build 17, the ‘software render’ is now blank from the Render dialog, and the selection box cannot be used to change it.

A test confirms there is no GPU involvement still with any ME processing, its all on the CPU.

No improvement or correct in the latest Build 16 version…..   Any idea of when the fix for ME is coming?
