Anyone experiencing Media Encoder 26.0 running extremely slow and only using a small percentage of their GPUs?

Yes, I am seeing the same thing….  I have resorted to exporting from premier direct, and its way faster.  I have posted about this before, in other versions.  It seems to come and go - sometimes fine, sometimes not….  Not sure why - and no one from Adobe responded to my post about it last time, so I have not bother to post about it since.  fingers crossed that it self fixes at some point.

Yes. I was trying to convert prores 422HQ to MP4 and it was so slow I did the exact same thing with Media Encoder 2023 and it was literally 2.5x faster.

I was also doing a 422HQ to a MPG Container encoded with HVEC, and for a 30 min timeline, it was 6 hours.  I started an export within premier directly, while the media encoder process was still running after 1.5 hours.  The new export finished the 30 min timeline in 60 min, and finished before the media encoder export for the same project.  so I canceled the media export.

for the record, there was no special effects on the seq, just a lum color correction for an interview, single camera, stationary.

Now I check to see what ME export estimates, and if more than double my timeline, I just use Premier to export (which I hate, because I want to see the frames as they are rendered while I work on something else).
