enhance speech

Strange issue where the tutorial for enhanced speech is working fine on both my Mac M1 and a PC with nvidia card. But when I drop in one of my own audio files the option for enhance speech is greyed out. Any idea what is happening?

I have tried with mono and stereo files.

i rolled back to a previous version and it seems to be working now. still not working on some audio files so it looks like it still has some bugs but great addition to Premiere Pro in general
