(ERROR) Masking Tool - stopped working in Premiere Pro Beta 25.6 on macOS

Today I updated to the latest Premiere Pro Beta 25.6 and Object Selection no longer works. When I try to select an object, I get this error message: “Download Machine Learning Models Failed” with “Additional ML models Failed” listed underneath.

Troubleshooting tried:

Installed an earlier Beta version. The problem persists.

Toggled the New Masking option in the Beta menu off and on. No change.
