Grey output while viewing source/program monitor is full screen

I don't know if this is a bug or if I'm doing something wrong. However, I don't get this issue with the stable release:

If I try to view full screen playback, I just get the background grey filling the screen. I can hear sound, but no video. Playback is fine when not full screen. Playback settings are identical between satable and beta, same project. Wierdly if I plug my TV in then I can full screen playback on that no problem.

Could I be doing something wrong?

I have the same issue. I just thought since it was the Beta, its not fully functional. But I'm glad im not the only one with this problem.

Any ideas on this? Still getting the same issue. I've updated to 25.3.0 BETA Build 35. Same issue. The stable release still has no issues. Exactly the same settings between the two. Tried resetting preferences to default on both, still the same. What could be causing this? I've been using the new Beta colour managment system, which is why I don't want to have to switch back to stable. Would really apreciate any help. Thank you!

@wise_knight9641,

How are you getting full screen? I'm on Build 20 and not seeing this on Mercury transmit, or main monitor, ` or Ctrl+`.

Oh, I've tried resetting preferences and deleting media cache.
