Select a clip and enable direct manipulation by clicking on it. Guides will only appear for the duration of the selected clip.

@BeratGL Thanks for your report. I’m able to reproduce the issue in-house and have filed a ticket to investigate a fix. This thread will be updated when the fix is available to try in the beta.

This seems to be fixed in the latest beta, Thanks! though add guide & edit guide menus seem to be broken, only setting that works is changing the color. I will create a bug report when available.
