Image size in effects does not match what is in source and timeline

I just imported a 4k video set into a new project. and dropped them on the timeline. The timeline says 3840 X 2160, matching the recorded image. However, the effects control says 1920X1080 at 100% as the image scale. This happened in the last beta drop or the one before. Scaling to 50% only reduces the image size. This beta drop is now unusable. Please fix ASAP.
