Info pop-up in timeline does not vanish when switching to other apps

If I hover over a clip in the timeline in PPro, a thing pops up to tell me about the clip's duration, in point, etc. Nice.

If I then alt-tab to AE, the pop-up remains stubbornly there instead of disappearing.
